Does god exist?

Post by famouslastwords on Sat 22 Nov 2008, 4:53 pm

This thread is just about whether god exists or no, and let's all remember nobody can prove he doesn't exist and none can prove he does*.

*Saying the fact a religion exists does not prove gods existence.

I'll go a step further, how do you know I exist, or for that matter that we ourselves exist? We can't prove that we're actually here and that this isn't all a dream or something of that nature. Life is based on faith as is religion, it's up to the individual to decide if god exists or not.

Out of curiosity why is this in the news/politics section o.O?

I believe in God but that's about as far as it goes. As for Christianity (Jesus being the Son of God and whatnot) I'm agnostic.

we don't need proof. if we had proof, we wouldn't have to believe. and believing is the idea of religion.
